FACT. is a premium skateboarding and music-inspired footwear and apparel label. Founded in June 2016 by Damon Way and Ryan Allan, the brand lives by its ethos of “Power of Expression” and “Beauty of Dysfunction,” crafting military-inspired Monkey Boots (MNKY), limited-edition sneakers, and underground fashion staples for post-punk, goth, and DIY skate communities. Each release, from rectified-leather monkey boots to cupsole skate shoes (CNTRL), is built for authenticity, durability, and the raw energy of the streets.

Damon Way co-founded DC Shoes in 1994 and later steered brand innovation as Chief Brand Officer at Incase Designs. With over two decades shaping skate culture’s most iconic footwear, Way brings design expertise and a deep music connection to FACT.

Ryan Allan is a Southern California photographer and creative director whose tenure at Gravis Footwear included photographing skate legend Dylan Rieder, capturing the true spirit of underground skate culture. His visual storytelling ensures every FACT. campaign resonates with subculture seekers worldwide.

FACT. remains at the intersection of underground music scenes and skate culture, empowering discarded misfits from around the globe.

He revolutionised streetwear and luxury that crosses generations and decades. He showed the world that the underrepresented, the underdogs and Black people, in particular, have brilliant minds and can push and compete equally in the establishment. He inspired hope and brought about change.” - Ibrahim Kamara, Art&Image Director Off-White™
